Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 Series (Dark Knight)

I still owe myself (and my, like, 2 readers) a post on all the merchandise I bought from The Batman collaborations floating out there, but I couldn't wait to share my Dark Knight Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 Series chair first!

I have been working from home at my glass dining table and suede dining chair (at least it's not wooden?) for the last 2 years. With the announcement that we will be going back into the office part-time starting next month (supposedly), I decided it's FINALLY time to invest in a proper office set up at home if I'll be working at home in some capacity for the loooong haul.  Plus I'm sure my back will appreciate the investment once I'm in my 40s. I don't think my dining table and chair were meant to be used that much, that often.

I've been eyeing this Dark Knight SecretLab chair for quite a while, but couldn't justify the purchase previously because I didn't really have anywhere to put it let alone a proper desk to put it at. However, if you've been following my Instagram stories, you'll remember that my husband and I recently finally sold the majority of our Funko Pops (as well as a couch) so we finally have some space in our hobby room!

The room has come quite a long way since I initially blogged about it in 2016. We accumulated so much more stuff to the point where the Funko Pops were lining the floors in PILES before we sold them. It was so satisfying to finally make some room for ourselves. The goal was to remove the floating shelves and place some bookcases in the room for display instead. That may still happen but, in the meantime, we decided to see if we can fit a couple of desks in there to make an office out of it so that we're not just sitting/standing around the kitchen for work.

I was still not quite ready to set up my office space, but a sale at SecretLab caught my eye and I decided I'd at least buy the chair for now and decide what to do with it later. Little did I know that would expedite my move away from the dining table. After using it in the dining room for a week, I got excited so I cleaned up some boxes and other things in the hobby room, purchased a $40 table from Facebook marketplace, and here we are today!

I know it's not the sexiest at-home set up. Perhaps I will upgrade to a larger table in the future. Maybe I'll even get a monitor! Hah. For now, I'm just excited to be using my Dark Knight SecretLab chair. It honestly makes working more enjoyable now that I'm in this space. It's all about the vibes. 😉

Check out the SecretLab website for all the details on this chair, but here are some close ups of my chair including the magnetic pillow head rest, Batman logo on the front/back, lumbar adjustment knobs, removable magnetic side panels and arm rests, rotating arm rests, full reclining capabilities, and more. Also, for inquiring minds, I find the chair quite comfortable. It's firm, but supportive. It's not as squishy as something like a couch, to be transparent, but that's what I want out of an office chair. I'm not trying to fall asleep at my desk like I do on my couch... which I do a lot if I'm being honest. My friend also owns a Titan series chair with the fabric upholstery and can vouch for that option if you prefer something other than the leatherette seen here.

For those of you in the market, there's also the SecretLab x The Batman chair with a removable magnetic logo on the back and a really sleek Dark Knight magnetic metal desk, which I couldn't justify because it cost as much as the chair. 😬 Let me know what you think of the chair and if you have any recommendations (products or otherwise) for how I can improve my at-home office set up!
