Batman Beyond Deluxe Limited Edition on Blu-ray and Digital

My copy of Batman Beyond was shipped to me last month and I know all my fellow Batman fans have seen pictures of other people's copies floating around already, but of course I had to share mine!

I purchased my copy from Amazon, which people who really care about the outer packaging should be weary of. My copy of Batman Beyond arrived in much better condition than my copy of Batman: The Animated Series but there were was still a squished corner which you can see below in the first image (top left corner of the box). The Funko Pop packaging inside the main box was also mysteriously ripped. There was no indication of how it ripped so it just leads me to believe that it was ripped before it was even packaged. So weird. All that aside, the packaging is still really nice.

Since these are limited edition, similar to Batman: The Animated Series on Blu-Ray, all packages were marked with a number. Mine was marked 46,881 of 50,000. If you purchased one, what number did you get?

The Blu-ray set came with a very reflective Batman Beyond Funko Pop in the signature Batman 80th Anniversary black box. I stopped collecting Funko Pops earlier this year so this is my first Funko Pop in the black box, which I have to admit I really like. You can see the mysterious tear on the front of the Funko box in the first photo below. Boo, Amazon. Based on the way Amazon responded to the previous uproar over the way they handled Batman: The Animated Series shipments, I figured it wasn't worth it to bring it up with them. It's kind of a bummer because their customer service is usually so great. Overall, though, this Funko Pop is a fun one and it's so reflective that there's just no hiding myself in the reflection as I'm taking photos of it. What are your thoughts on the Pop?

The Blu-rays also came with 4 collectible lenticular cards (kind of reminds me of holographic images) featuring some of the Batman Beyond animation art.

The best and most important part of this order, of course, are the Blu-rays themselves. Check out the packaging below. It includes a Blu-Ray and digital copy of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker too, which I'd say is my 2nd favorite Batman animated movie behind Batman: Under the Red Hood. You can see some of the villains from the series featured on the actual Blu-Rays discs and other packaging, but I'm a little bit bummed that Inque, one of my favorite Batman Beyond villains, isn't featured anywhere on any of this stuff at all. What gives?

I'm still in the middle of getting Mickey, my husband, through all of Batman: The Animated Series, but will absolutely be making him watch all of Batman Beyond with me right after. It's been so long since I've watched these (even though I own it all on DVD) so I'm looking forward to rewatching all the things I've forgotten.

If you're interested in purchasing your own copy and you're concerned about the packaging, definitely try ordering from Warner Bros. instead. Amazon is 0 for 2 at this point. Yikes. If you do order yourself a copy, let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
